Frank Has Gone Home
At 6:45 am Saturday morning, Frank surprised us all by quickly going to be with his Lord. Eloise was with him, and he looked up to heaven as he took his final breaths. His passing was peaceful. The previous afternoon and evening he had been uncomfortable and restless. It seemed that he had made the decision to go be with Jesus. The family grieves the loss, but rejoices that Frank can walk on streets of gold.

We are sorry for the loss of Mr. Hooper. May you experience God's love and peace during this difficult time. I wasn't blessed to know Mr. Hooper well.... BUT I did know Jeanette, Jon, Jaci, and Jacob and I know that they are wonderful testimonies to the OUTSTANDING father, father-in-law, and grandpa that Mr. Frank Hooper was during his life on earth. See you in Heaven! - Ron & Tami Farrington
I can hear the Lord saying to Frank, "Well done, good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of the Lord." May the peace of the Lord be with all of you.

Dear Eloise,
I am sad for you and the family. Your loss is immeasurable. And I have lost a dear brother, and a close confidant.
I pray your healing is deep and your hope abounds.
With love and prayers,
Ron
Dear Eloise and Family,
How deeply saddened we were to hear of Frank's passing. But we are resurrection people and we rejoice in that hope. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. We are comforted by St. Paul's words, "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."
With the kindest regards
Franklin and Mary Bishop
Dear Eloise, Kathy, Pat, Becky and Jeannette,
Our prayers are with you at this time of loss. It is always hard to let someone go but we can also rejoice that Frank is with the Lord. What a homecoming is going on. May God comfort and carry you through this time.

We extend our love to Eloise and family at this time. God makes no mistakes-His timing is perfect. May you find strength by resting on The Solid Rock and know that He Giveth More Grace When the burdens grow greater. Frank has entered The Holy City and is with Jesus.

Dear Eloise and all family members:
We will forever remember the good times; the spiritual growth; the excellent Bible teaching and preaching...all these and more have a lasting and eternal perspective in our lives.
Yes, we are sad yet happy that our dear Brother is now with the Lord. Sad, because that familiar voice will be heard no more on the calls back and forth made over the years; the emails of encouragement; the good advice given; the spiritual discernment and more we received...yet happy, because he is now in heaven, rejoicing with the Lord whom he served. We too, shall soon follow, as life here is all too brief.
All will be in our thoughts and prayers, and we hope to see you at the memorial service. Love, Ted and Dean.
Whenever I think of Pastor Hooper, I recall his messages from Revelation where we get that beautiful description of the "new heaven."
We are saddemed by the loss from our presence, of this beautiful man of God, but rejoice in the knowledge that he rests secure in the presence of the Lord he loved and served so faithfully.
I remember also how he used to say death is nothing to be feared. He always said that to the young it was a fearful event, but as one got older, they looked forward without fear.
Thank you, Lord, for this precious servant.
Eloise and family,
Our hearts are breaking and rejoicing at the same time. Pastor Hooper is truly where he belongs, in the presence of his Savior. But it sure was wonderful of the Lord to loan him to us for a good long time. He taught us so much from the Word....so much about how to love...and how to live. Irene and I both lost our dads years ago....on Saturday morning we lost another....for just a little while.
All our love and prayers,
Jim, Irene and Beth Adams

Would like to extend condolences to Frank's family. Frank was our neighbor and good friend. We will always remember him in our prayers, as he did us for so long.
May the Peace of the Lord be with you always.
I was saddened to hear of Frank's passing only because I wanted one more opportunity to express my gratitude to him for all he did for Kay and I when we were at Napier. I will NEVER forget the first night he and John Eckels came to visit us. He was so sincere and really cared for our well being.
I am the person I am today because God brought Pastor Hooper into my life. Although it has been way too long since I spoke with him, I will anxiously await seeing him again in Heaven.

Dear Eloise, I was out of town on the 12th. Frank is fellowshipping with JP in the presence of the Lord. Know please that I love you and will pray for you. I know full well the feeling of loss and God remembers we are flesh and cares about our tears. One day we will all be together again and around the Throne.

Today He did the same.
How long will this continue?
Forever! Praise His Name"

Our son, Steve attended Franks funeral in our stead, because we are 1200 miles away. He called last night to say how touched he was by the messages he heard at the service and the tributes everyone had for Frank. He just keeps on giving, even at his funeral he inspires people with God's love. We will miss him, but will rejoice with him again in heaven. Our prayers are with you, Eloice and the rest of the family, that the Lord will console and comfort you in this loss of a wonderful man.

I didn't find out about the transition to Heaven of Frank and Eloise until a few months ago, however, I'm both saddened and delighted. Pastor Frank was my mentor in Puerto Rico while serving at Grace Servicemen Center". I was a brand new "babe in CHRIST" when he took me under his wing and guidance. He taught me ALL 66 books of the HOLY BIBLE within a two and one half years of US Naval Service I performed at the old Roosevelt Roads Naval Base. Frank was my father figure and spent many nights and days sharing the Gospel with me as I resided out at the complex. The one thing I am most gracious about was coming to know his family, especially Becki and Jeannette.
I know that Ill see him again and when that moment in Heaven comes I will be the MOST thankful of all to see him and thank him for teaching me the importance of a solid prayer life and a faithful walk with our LORDSAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST!
