Dear Eloise and Frank: Ever since Pat Rupers called us with the news of Frank, we have been in prayer for you both. I also passed this news onto all the Waukesha Bible Church friends that knew you both.

When I think of you two I think of all the years you faithfully served the Lord. The Lord will stay faithful to you in the days
ahead. He never fails!

Love and prayers,
Dave & Nancee Berglund

Dear Brother Frank - my time at the PR Christian Servicemen's Ctr. 1968-70 and 1976, and our many letters over the years since have been a source of joy and strength. You were there in my darkest hour. Now you are in the Valley of the Shadow, and as Jesus was with me, so He is with you. I remain your brother in Christ and our fellowship in the Son will never end. Praying for you daily, Love, Ron

Dear Pastor Hooper,
As soon as I got the news of your illness I took your name to the Throne in prayer. What an awesome privilege we have of going directly to the Father in Heaven, who knows our conditions and he takes our petitions so seriously. We have a direct line to Heaven and when you think of that, what an awesome thought. I will continue to pray for you and trust the Lord gives you strength beyond measure as you face the upcoming days. Hold to God's unchanging hand. He loves you and we love you here at Lenawee Christian School.

Dear Frank, Jon and Jeanette have shared with me and our congregation of your diagnosed battle with cancer. Please know of your profound impact on the lives of many, many people while at WRBC. God may have blessed you with your kind, warm and approachable personality but you have been faithful to develop, through the study of His Word, a knowledge of God's instruction book that both encourages and motivates those who you come in contact with. Your words were backed up with your living and the evidence of your work is easily observed in your family. You have been a man of faith who has made a positive difference in every life you been a part of. The Lord brings you and the Eckles family to my mind often. I consider it a privilege to bring your names before Jesus and thank Him for allowing me to have known you and witnessed your modeling of faith. Tom Britsch

Mr. Hooper,

I don't know you that well, but the couple of years that I did know you at Napier I developed a tremendous amount of respect for you. I never hear anyone speak of you without much respect.

May God bless you and return to you a hundredfold the blessing you have been in so many lives!

Greetings Frank and Eloise! It has been too long (years) since we last met and talked. But I still remember those precious years in Puerto Rico and the life changing effect they have had on me. Those times shaped me for the next forty plus years and largely prepared me for my life's work.

Frank and Eloise, you two are the most genuine Christians I ever met. My attending Moody was directly influenced by you. After working for Moody for a few years and trying other employment, I returned to school as an undergraduate in 1980, went on to seminary, and for the past eighteen years have been teaching theology at the college here in Elmhurst. I have enjoyed the priviledge of teaching the simple Gospel of our Lord, to college students who largely would never darken the door of a church and who never really understood before what the faith was all about. Who would have guessed God would prepare me for that kind of ministry?

I have been blessed for all these years and never tire of this work. While I have changed and perhaps broadened a bit, I remain firmly grounded in the Gospel of salvation by grace through faith in Christ, as I learned it from you.

Frank and Eloise, you are the two most significant people I have had the priviledge to know and learn from in my Christian journey. You modeled out for me what it means to be a Christian. What a thrill it is for me to know that you are still so steadfast in the Lord.

I am so sorry to hear that you are experiencing pain and uncertain health. My prayers are with you knowing that God will be a very present help in your time of need.

Thank you for what you have meant to me and so many others over these many years. And thank you whoever created this blog. I will find myself returning to it again and again to keep abreast of developments and comments. God's richest blessings on you and your family.
