Hospice
The past two days have been active with hospice nurses in and out. Today they brought a hospital bed and oxygen and some changes in medication to help with discomfort and nausea. Kathy is driving in late tonight to spend a few days, and her kids and grandkids (Frank's grands and great-grands) will come for brief visits this weekend.
Eloise asked that we convey how much your messages and phone calls have encouraged her during this difficult time. We read new comments to Dad a few at a time as they come in. He is weak, but your messages bring smiles and even tears as he remembers the good times spent with each of you. You can tell he is thinking more and more of heaven and less and less of this life as he prepares to meet his Lord. What a glorious reunion is in store for us!

Frank,
I am so sorry to learn of your health problems. You are a wondeful neighbor and friend. I enjoyed and looked forward to our conversations in Adrian. Even though the times were few I felt a close connection to you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Frank, see you in the Kingdom.

Hey Mr. Hooper,
This is Rafael McLeod, Ralph McLeod's son. I have to tell you a story that I remember about you when we visited you in Puerto Rico back in 1985. You taught about Heaven and gave the most vivid description of what it would be like. I still remember that sermon 20 years later. I pray that Heaven would be just like you described it in your sermon, though we both know it's going to be waaaaayyyy cooler than that! Thank you for that wonderful memory that I will tell my children and pray the Lord would bring comfort to your body and ease the pain. May the Lord bless you and give you peace.

Dear brother Frank, Eloise and "4 Little Girls"
We lovingly remember the night in 1960 we knocked on your door and asked something like "what kind of a church is this?" amd you took us in. Where there was "no room" you made room that night. Our Lord has blessed us over the years with our fellowship with you.
When our Eddie was dying with cancer you loaned us your car, gave him blood and ministered to us in so many many ways.
Then fellowship at Grace Bible Church. What a blessing!!!!!
Your have "Ran a GOOD race and won" PRAISE THE LORD May you ALL have the peace that only faith in Jesus Christ can gove.

Frank,
We have been thinking of you much in these days. I was just remembering how everytime we get together you asked me about the time your "friends" left me for dead in a cold storm at Blue Beach or how Grandma short sheeted my bed after I played her a fine trumpet solo...well I remember and am so thankful for our friendship our the years. I hope remembering brings a smile to you today as it has to us in the past.
Our love,
Rollie, Annie and family
Dear Uncle Frank,
We're praying for you and we love you! I remember the week I spent with you in PR in the 70's...how you taught me to body surf and the wonderful fellowship at the church. Most of all I remember your example in always being ready to share the Good News. Heaven will be filled with those you led to the Lord and it will seem like a only a second and we will all be at your side, worshiping and praising the Lord! Thank you for your influence in my life and consequently, in the lives of my children. I know your vision is heavenward, your race is nearly done and that you kept the faith. see you soon...love to all, Mike & Barb Reynolds, Becca and Julie, and family
Mr. Hooper,
Hi, this is Sunny - the youngest daughter of Keith and Christie Beaumont. I am saddened to hear about your recent health problems. You, Mrs. Hooper, and everyone in your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Kindest Regards - Sunny Coleman
Dear Frank, Eloise and Family,
As I read the comments your support group is sending, I am so thankful for the outpouring of love and compassion that is coming your way! I do believe God is using the 'great cloud of wittnesses' on this side of the shore to make God's gracious presence known to you. Mary and I are so blessed to be a part of the many to whom who have ministered.
On the lighter side, Frank, do you remember the time we hit the cow on the way to San Juan? I remember that there was little damage to your car, but an experience still remembered.
"Peace, Peace, sweet peace, the gift of God's Love.'

Grandpa,
We just came home for an ice cream break. The kids are having fun at the campground. They are all looking forward to visiting you. We miss you dearly. We all love you so very much.

Dear Pastor Hooper,
We have just found out about your cancer and we feel so sad. You will be so missed! But we are not sad without hope. We will see you again, and spend eternity together with Jesus.
Thank you for being a wonderful pastor to all the Wetzels. Our lives are spiritually richer because of you - your life example and your prayers. We love you. Jake (Jack) and Sarah Wetzel in Norht Carolina.
Mr. Hooper,
Aloha from Hawaii!!!!!
I just want to send a million hugs and kisses your way. Once Heidi told me about your illness, I have not been the same. You and your wife have always been wonderful to me and made me feel a part of the family. We wish you and your family well and many blessings. May God bless you and give you comfort and peace through this difficult time.
With Love,
Chelsea ( best friend of Heidi) and family.
